Die Hörgalerie 'ohrenhoch, der Geräuschladen' ist eine weltweit einzigartige Präsentationsform von Klangkunst in Synthese mit einem speziellen klangarchitektonischen Raumkonzept.
Die drei von Knut Remond entwickelten, speziellen Lautsprecher-Installationen und die schlichte Einrichtung sind die Grundelemente der Hörgalerie.
ohrenhoch, der Geräuschladen' - ein 20 qm kleiner Ladenraum mit Schaufenster und zwei Kellerräume - wurde am 15. Dezember 2007 von Knut Remond und Katharina Moos eröffnet.

"Dominant ist das Spannungsfeld, das durch die Überlagerung der kindlichen Stimme mit einer reizüberflutenden Klanglandschaft entsteht. Die fragile, unverständliche Stimme steht im Kontrast zu den Klängen von Computerspielen und den repetitiven, teils verzerrten Melodiefragmenten.
Man ist eingeladen, einzutauchen in ein Gefühl der Überforderung und subtiler Verdrängung — ein Nebeneinander von Unschuld und Giftigkeit… erfahrbare Psychoakustik?"

"What stands out most is the tension created by the layering of a childlike voice over an overstimulating sonic environment. The fragile, almost unintelligible voice contrasts with the computer game sounds and the repetitive, sometimes distorted melodic fragments.
Listeners are invited to immerse themselves in a feeling of overwhelm and subtle repression — a juxtaposition of innocence and toxicity… experiential psychoacoustics?"
